Community Development

MBSS carries out various programs to support social and community development in areas where it operates, with the goal of sustainability empowering residents and developing their ability to earn income.

In 2014, a women’s empowerment program that began in Rangga Ilung village, Central Kalimantan in 2013 was continued. Housewives who were trained in basic sewing last year were now given advanced training further improve their skills. It is expected that this program can give these housewives the ability to earn additional income and enable them to improve their family welfare.
